Marci X

“Hip hop meets shop till you drop.”

In 2003 New York, Marci Feld (Lisa Kudrow) is a pampered socialite who knows little about rap or the business world. Then her father Ben (Richard Benjamin), who owns a hip-hop label, lands in the hospital after a protest erupts over Dr. S (Damon Wayans) and his raunchy new record. Benjamin directs it as a bright, loud comedy, with Marci's world of cashmere and money set against the studio and the stage.
