Margaret

Lisa Cohen (Anna Paquin), a 17-year-old in New York, runs alongside a city bus to get the driver's attention, and moments later a woman lies dead in the street. Lisa is sure she played a part, and Kenneth Lonergan follows her as she tells the police, her mother Joan (J. Smith-Cameron) and her teachers, and nobody lets her put it down. The film is about a girl who finds out that being right, and wanting it set right, does not make anyone listen.
