Margarita with a Straw

Nobody in Laila Kapoor's (Kalki Koechlin) Delhi home quite expects what she wants out of the move to New York, least of all her mother, Shubhangini (Revathi). Laila is a young woman with cerebral palsy, headed abroad for university, writing songs and wanting to be touched like anyone else. Shonali Bose follows her there, where she meets Khanum (Sayani Gupta), and the two start finding out what they are to each other.
