Margherita delle stelle

Margherita Hack (Cristiana Capotondi) grows up in Trieste watching the sky, drawn to stars while her father (Cesare Bocci) pushes her toward convention. As a young woman, she pursues astrophysics at the observatory despite resistance from those around her, finding encouragement in her mentor Aldo De Rosa (Flavio Parenti). To follow this path means choosing solitude over the family and marriage her mother expects her to want.
