Marguerite
In 1920s Paris, Marguerite Dumont (Catherine Frot) gives recitals for friends in her wealthy home, and she sings badly out of tune. Her husband Georges (André Marcon) and her circle have always applauded, and Xavier Giannoli follows her as she decides to sing for a real audience at the Opera. Behind the applause, the film is about the kindness that keeps a person from the truth about herself.
