María (and Everybody Else)

The news hits María (Bárbara Lennie) the day her father Antonio (José Ángel Egido) announces he is marrying his nurse. She is 35, and she has cooked, cleaned and kept the family steady since her mother died when she was fifteen. Nely Reguera follows her through the wedding preparations, where María's grip on her father and her siblings starts to slip, and the question is who she is to them once she stops holding it all together.
