Mario

“Follow your heart, or play by the rules?”

Mario Lüthi (Max Hubacher) is closing in on a spot with the top Swiss football club, the career he and his father always wanted for him, when the striker Leon Saldo (Aaron Altaras) joins the team. Marcel Gisler follows the two of them as rumours and prejudice start to press on the pitch and in the dressing room. Mario sits on a bench with his boots still on and Leon beside him, neither of them saying much.
