“Heel the love.”

John (Owen Wilson) and Jenny (Jennifer Aniston) are newly married and starting a family, and a retriever puppy named Marley arrives in the house with a talent for trouble. David Frankel follows the couple through the early years of their marriage, with Marley chewing and wrecking his way through every stage of it. The last thing we see is the dog himself, a Labrador retriever in the middle of the family's life.
