Marlowe

(1969)Directed by Paul Bogart96 min · PGCrime, Mystery, Drama
“Marlowe is the best private eye in the business. Just ask the people he does business with.”

Orfamay Quest (Sharon Farrell) hires Los Angeles private investigator Philip Marlowe (James Garner) to find her missing brother, a job that sounds like an easy afternoon. Each lead he follows turns up an exotic dancer, a blackmailed television star, a gangster looking out for himself, or a body with an ice pick in it. Paul Bogart directs the 1969 adaptation of Chandler's The Little Sister from a script by Stirling Silliphant.
