Marooned

“Three marooned astronauts. Only 55 minutes left to rescue them. While the whole world watches and waits...”

Jim Pruett (Richard Crenna), Ted Dougherty (David Janssen) and Clayton Stone (James Franciscus) have spent several months in an orbiting lab, and all they want now is to go home. Then the de-orbit thrusters on their capsule won't fire, and Charles Keith (Gregory Peck) has to work out a rescue on the ground. John Sturges counts down against a hurricane bearing down on the launch site and an air supply that gets thinner by the hour.
