Mary Forever

Marco Terzi (Michele Placido) leaves Milan for Palermo expecting a quick stopgap job, and finds himself in a juvenile detention centre where the boys will not say what put them there. Marco Risi has him learn it one file at a time: Natale (Francesco Benigno), in for murder and drawn to the Mafia, and Mery (Alessandra Di Sanzo), a trans sex worker locked in with the boys. Every lesson Marco gives them could pull them away from the only world they know.
