Mary Poppins Returns

“Magic always returns.”

London in the Great Depression, and Michael Banks (Ben Whishaw) has lost his wife and is close to losing the family house, with three children to look after. Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) drops out of the sky to take charge of them again, the same nanny who once raised Michael and his sister Jane (Emily Mortimer). Rob Marshall follows her through songs and painted worlds, and the film settles on Michael's old bond with Mary.
