“Jean-Luc Godard's Swinging Look at Youth and Love in Paris Today!”

Paul (Jean-Pierre Léaud) is a young idealist who has no idea what to do with his life, so he takes a job asking strangers questions for a marketing research firm. He moves in with Madeleine (Chantal Goya), an aspiring pop singer who wants success while he distrusts everything that sells. Godard tells it in fifteen separate vignettes, cutting from one to the next without explanation.
