Master Gardener

“The seeds of love grow like the seeds of hate.”

Gracewood Gardens is a grand estate where Narvel Roth (Joel Edgerton) keeps every hedge and flowerbed in order, and every wish of his employer, the wealthy Norma Haverhill (Sigourney Weaver), is met without complaint. Then she tells him to take in her troubled niece Maya (Quintessa Swindell) as an apprentice. Paul Schrader lets that request stir up a past Narvel has buried, and the man who tends the soil so carefully has to face what he was before.
