Matango

“Can you survive the madness and terror of Matango?”

Kenji Murai (Akira Kubo) wants to get his seven shipmates home after a storm leaves their yacht crippled and drifting to an island near the equator. The only shelter is a rotting ship covered in fungus, and the food runs short fast, with Mami Sekiguchi (Kumi Mizuno) and the rest dividing what the earlier crew left behind. Ishirō Honda sets a small group against hunger and each other, and the fear is that appetite will do the damage.
