“Some people just want more.”

Lucy (Dakota Johnson) is a matchmaker in New York who treats love as a market, sizing up clients by their height, income and what they say they want. Then she meets Harry (Pedro Pascal), a wealthy financier who seems like the match she has spent her career describing, just as John (Chris Evans), her ex, comes back into view. Celine Song, who made Past Lives, films the city's dating world with a plain, close eye for how people price themselves.
