Matt and Mara

Nobody on the campus quite expects Matt (Matt Johnson) when he wanders in, a charismatic, free-spirited author from the past of Mara (Deragh Campbell), a creative writing professor whose marriage to the musician Samir (Mounir al Shami) has stalled. When Samir cancels the drive to her conference, Matt rides along in his place. Kazik Radwanski keeps the two of them close in the car, Mara and Matt side by side, the road ahead going by and nothing between them settled.
