“If you can't find a friend... make one.”

May (Angela Bettis) works as a veterinary assistant and spends her days with animals more easily than with people, until she notices a man named Adam (Jeremy Sisto) and the hands she can't stop looking at. Lucky McKee follows her through awkward dates, a coworker (Anna Faris) who flirts with her, and an apartment where she makes things alone at night. It is a story about wanting to be known and having no idea how to ask.
