May I Speak with the Enemy?

Miguel Gila (Óscar Lasarte), a Spanish comedian, sets out across a war-torn landscape on an unlikely mission to find the enemy general and make him laugh. He gathers a ragged band of fellow travelers, including the reluctant soldier Pedro (Carlos Cuevas) and Rosa (Natalia de Molina), each carrying their own reasons for the journey. What begins as an absurd quest becomes Miguel's way of learning who he is when the world around him is breaking apart.
