Me, Natalie
“I guess I really didn't need help finding a husband... what I needed was help finding myself.”
Natalie Miller (Patty Duke) has believed since childhood that she is an ugly duckling, and no amount of reassurance from her mother (Nancy Marchand) has changed her mind. She leaves Brooklyn for Greenwich Village, hoping to find out who she is. Fred Coe puts her among the painters and drifters there, where her romance with David Harris (James Farentino) begins and the whole neighborhood feels like a place she might belong.
