Me, You, Them

“It is impossible to find all virtues on a unique man.”

Darlene (Regina Casé) is an ordinary woman in a poor, dry village in the Brazilian northeast, and what she wants is a home and a child of her own. Her first husband is Osias (Lima Duarte), and Zezinho (Stênio Garcia) and Ciro (Luiz Carlos Vasconcelos) come to share the house with them. Andrucha Waddington keeps the three men and one woman under the same roof, where the land is arid and the village is small.
