Mean Creek

“Beneath the surface, everyone has a secret.”

Sam Merric (Rory Culkin) is a quiet kid in a small Oregon town who gets punched in the face by George Tooney (Josh Peck), the heavyset bully nobody has stood up to. Sam's older brother Rocky (Trevor Morgan) and his friends plan a prank for a birthday boat trip down the river. Nobody on board thinks the joke will cost anything, and by the end of the day each of them will have a death to answer for.
