“Are you ready for a good time?”

Tripper Harrison (Bill Murray) is head counselor at Camp Northstar, a cheap summer camp, and he wants the summer to be fun for himself and every kid in his care. He's barely older than his campers in temperament, befriends a lonely boy named Rudy, and rallies the whole bunk against rich rival Camp Mohawk in the annual Olympiad. Ivan Reitman's first feature is about being a kid for a few weeks, with no one grading you.
