Mechanical Violator Hakaider

Ryo (Yuji Kishimoto) wakes from imprisonment as Hakaider, a leather-clad cyborg who wants to tear down the regime that jailed him. That regime is Jesus Town, a totalitarian city-state in a desolate future, and it keeps its people in line while preaching peace. Keita Amemiya, working from the Android Kikaider series, makes the usual villain his hero, and the quiet Jesus Town promises is the kind that only lasts while everyone obeys.
