“For honor. For justice. For freedom.”

Jan Žižka (Ben Foster) leads a band of mercenaries through fifteenth-century Bohemia, fighting for coin while the kingdom's nobles scheme against one another. Then Lord Boreš (Michael Caine) hires him for a job that pulls him into the struggle over the crown. Petr Jákl stages the clashes in mud and steel, and Žižka, who has never lost a battle, learns what each victory takes from him.
