Maria (Cheng Pei-pei) has spent her married life in the shadow of her husband Bing (Tzi Ma), until she finds another woman's thong in his laundry. Mina Shum follows her as she starts keeping watch on him, and slowly begins to work out a life of her own. Between Maria and Bing sits a long marriage, and neither of them has ever had to say much out loud.
