Mediterranea

Ayiva (Koudous Seihon) leaves Burkina Faso to earn enough to support his sister and his young daughter, and he brings his best friend Abas (Alassane Sy) along on the crossing to Italy. Jonas Carpignano follows the two of them as they find work and a place to stay in a Calabrian town, where the welcome turns colder by the week. Ayiva means to make it work, and each month he stays, the risk to him and Abas grows.
