Meet the Parents

“First comes love. Then comes the interrogation.”

Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) flies to Pam's family home for her sister's wedding with a ring in his bag and one goal, which is to get through a weekend with her father. Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) is a retired CIA man who watches every move Greg makes and does not smile. Jay Roach lets each small mishap pile onto the last, and the camera keeps coming back to Jack's stare.
