Meg 2: The Trench

“Back for seconds.”

Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham) is a deep-sea diver who has traded rescue work for ocean research, and he leads a team exploring the deepest trench on Earth alongside Jiuming Zhang (Wu Jing) and Meiying (Shuya Sophia Cai). Ben Wheatley sends them down into the dark, where a mining operation is already at work and the crew's mission turns into a fight to survive. Jonas has been in the water with these creatures before, and he goes back in anyway.
