Mektoub, My Love: Canto Uno

“For love, only Mektoub can decide.”

Amin (Shaïn Boumedine) steps off the train in Sète for the summer, home from Paris and his screenwriting. He drifts between his parents' Tunisian restaurant, the local bars and the beaches, with his cousin Tony (Salim Kéchiouche) and his friend Ophélie (Ophélie Bau) close by. Abdellatif Kechiche treats the season as a stretch of time with no destination, where being young and watching one another is the whole business.
