Melody

“A tender love story for everyone who was ever ten years old.”

Daniel Latimer (Mark Lester) is a schoolboy who wants one thing, to be near Melody Perkins (Tracy Hyde), and he can't think of a good reason to wait. His friend Ornshaw (Jack Wild) can't make sense of any of it, and the pair of them end up telling their parents they intend to marry as soon as possible. Waris Hussein films it at a child's height, taking the whole thing as seriously as they do.
