Memoir of War

“From the life of Marguerite Duras”

Marguerite Duras (Mélanie Thierry) wants one thing in the last days of the Occupation: her husband, Robert Antelme (Emmanuel Bourdieu), home alive after his arrest as a Resistance fighter and deportation. While she waits, she keeps seeing a collaborationist, Pierre Rabier (Benoît Magimel), and she knows the game is dangerous. Emmanuel Finkiel sets her beside Dionys Mascolo (Benjamin Biolay), the lover who shares her wait and her silences.
