Memories of Matsuko

“Destiny of shrine maiden.”

A woman has been found dead, and nobody in her family will say much about who she was. Sho Kawajiri (Eita Nagayama) is sent to clear out the apartment of his aunt Matsuko (Miki Nakatani), and the objects he turns up slowly pull her story out of him. Tetsuya Nakashima tells it as a musical, setting a sad life to song and bright color.
