Memories of Murder

“The worst of them will stay with you... forever.”

Detective Park Doo-man (Song Kang-ho) wants a confession, and in a small province in 1980s South Korea he has never needed more than a hunch and a hard slap to get one. Then a killer starts leaving young women's bodies in the fields, and Seo Tae-yoon (Kim Sang-kyung), a detective sent from Seoul, arrives insisting on evidence. Bong Joon Ho builds the case around the gap between what these men feel certain of and what they can prove.
