“Back in time.”

Agent J (Will Smith) wakes to find Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) erased from history by Boris the Animal (Jemaine Clement), a criminal he'd arrested years before. J is the only one who remembers his partner and must travel back to 1969 to save young Agent K (Josh Brolin) before the erasure takes hold. Sonnenfeld sends J careening through decades, racing against a deadline that will wipe out not just K, but everyone J has ever known.
