Men in Black II

“Same planet. New scum.”

Four years after the first alien scare, Jay (Will Smith) is still the Men in Black's top agent, but he works without Kay (Tommy Lee Jones), who left the agency with his memory of it wiped. When Serleena (Lara Flynn Boyle) threatens the planet, Zed (Rip Torn) and Jay have to bring Kay back, though he remembers none of the job. Barry Sonnenfeld plays it as a buddy picture, with a partnership that depends on one man trusting what the other says.
