“Someone knows too much.”

Nine-year-old Simon Lynch (Miko Hughes), who is autistic, solves a puzzle in a magazine that turns out to be the government's new "unbreakable" code, and the men who built it send killers after him. The only person standing between the boy and them is Art Jeffries (Bruce Willis), a renegade FBI agent who has no idea how to look after a child. Harold Becker sets Art against Nicholas Kudrow (Alec Baldwin), who treats a child's mind as a leak to be sealed.
