Mercy

“Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.”

Rebecca (Frances O'Connor) is a single mother who needs to keep her two boys, George (Chandler Riggs) and Buddy (Joel Courtney), under one roof with their grandmother Mercy (Shirley Knight), whose mystical powers she cannot explain. Peter Cornwell, working from a Stephen King story, keeps the family in the house with Mercy while Uncle Lanning (Mark Duplass) hovers nearby. Rebecca and her mother have never spoken plainly about what Mercy is.
