Migiwa (Mari Shirato) is an abalone diver on a Japanese fishing coast, working the cold water alongside her husband Shouhei (Kentarō Shimizu). Their livelihood comes under threat when ruthless investors move in to take over the shoreline they have worked for years. Toshiharu Ikeda directs, and the film took three awards at the 6th Yokohama Film Festival.
