Merry-Go-Round

Mari Pataki (Mari Törőcsik) is a young farm girl who wants only to be with Máté Bíró (Imre Soós), the man her father has told her to stop seeing. István Pataki (Béla Barsi) cares about the fields and what they will be worth, so he promises her to his older business partner. Zoltán Fábri sets the story in a village where "land marries land" is treated as law, and love counts for very little against it.
