Merv

“A different breed of romantic comedy.”

Merv, the dog Anna (Zooey Deschanel) and Russ (Charlie Cox) once shared, has stopped acting like himself since they split. Neither of them can say why, so they work out a stiff, awkward co-parenting arrangement, and Russ takes the dog to Florida to cheer him up. Jessica Swale keeps the camera easy and close, letting the comedy run on small, ordinary moments.
