Message from the King

Jacob King (Chadwick Boseman) steps off a flight from Cape Town into Los Angeles, looking for his younger sister. He learns she is dead, and he starts working his way through the city's lowlifes and the wealthy people who use them, one door at a time. Fabrice Du Welz keeps the camera close on Boseman and lets the city's sprawl feel like a crowd he has to push through.
