Messages from the Sea

Yehya (Asser Yassin) comes back to Alexandria, the seaside city of his youth, and finds the place has changed around him. Daoud Abdel Sayed follows him through the streets and the people he knew, among them Nora (Basma) and Abeel (Mohammad Lotfi). The film is about how a city and the people in it shift over time, and how hard it is to hold on to the version you remember.
