Mia and the Migoo

One night Mia (Garance Lagraa) wakes with a premonition that her father is in danger, and she leaves her mother's grave behind to cross mountains and jungle toward a remote tropical lake. There she meets the Migoo, shape-shifting forest spirits who swell from small childlike creatures into petulant giants. Jacques-Rémy Girerd, working with Folimage, fills the screen with the lake's tangled green and the Migoo's constant changing.
