“Love is great. Marriage is a completely different affair.”

Gwyn (Sarah Jessica Parker) is engaged to Matt (Gil Bellows) and wants to say yes to the wedding, but every time it gets close she backs away. Her mother, Nina (Mia Farrow), keeps pressing her to set a date, while Gwyn learns that her parents' marriage, the one she has always admired, has not been as faithful as it looked. David Frankel makes his feature debut here, and Gwyn keeps circling her own answer.
