“Ireland, 1916. His Dreams Inspired Hope. His Words Ignited Passion. His Courage Forged A Nation's Destiny.”

How does a man who helped found a country end up hunted by the people who fought beside him? Neil Jordan follows Michael Collins (Liam Neeson) through Ireland's struggle against British rule in the early 1920s, with Harry Roland (Aidan Quinn) at his side and Eamon de Valera (Alan Rickman) as his rival. Collins signs for a free state while others demand a full republic, and he pays for it in friendships.
