Mid-Century

“Murder by design.”

Tom Levin (Shane West) and his wife Marie (Sarah Hay) book a weekend at a mid-century modern vacation rental, all glass walls and clean lines. Their host, Emil Larson (Bruce Dern), turns out to be a psychopath with a backyard full of buried secrets and designs on Marie. Sonja O'Hara builds the film around how little privacy a house with no solid walls can give, and how a stranger's property can hold more than it shows.
