mid90s

“fall. get back up.”

The older boys at a skate shop pull Stevie (Sunny Suljic), a 13-year-old in 1990s Los Angeles, away from a troubled home. Jonah Hill, in his first feature as director, follows the summer Stevie spends trying to keep up with them, on boards and in their company. Wanting to belong to a crew of friends, and to be seen by them, drives every choice he makes.
