“You'll have the time of your LIFE at MIDNIGHT!”

Eve Peabody (Claudette Colbert) steps off a train in Paris with no money and no job, and she needs a way to eat before the night is out. Georges Flammarion (John Barrymore), a millionaire, offers her one: pose as Hungarian royalty and draw his wife's admirer away from her. Mitchell Leisen sets it in the best Parisian drawing rooms, where a name and a borrowed title are enough to buy a seat at the table.
