“A woman you will never forget!”

Mary (Loretta Young) sits on trial for her life while the jury waits, and she goes back over the years that put her in the courtroom. William A. Wellman traces her path from a hard childhood through the men who shaped it, among them Leo (Ricardo Cortez) and Tom (Franchot Tone). In the end she is a young woman in a courtroom, the jury watching her, the verdict still unspoken.
